My Top 3 Mac Lipsticks

MAC Lipsticks are one of my favourite lipsticks from the texture to the smell to the colour it leaves on my lipsticks! Because MAC have so many different colours id thought id share with you my top 3 favourite to help you if your thinking of buying one!

Rebel

Rebel is a deep plum lipstick and is perfect for olive skin tones! It has a stain finish and is perfect to wear in the autumn or winter. The colour in the tube is way darker than it shows on the lips so don't panic! I've won it with and without a liner and its great. Definitely one for your collection.

Candy Yum Yum

Candy yum yum is a neon pink lipstick which is really fun and summery. It's funky and young, gives life to the lips. The colour pay off is amazing although it is a bit drying I find but that is expected with a matte formula. Definitely one for going out!

Viva Glam II

This is a subtle nude shade. The lipstick formula is satin which is great. I think it would be great for any skin tone. I would recommend prepping your lips before applying. It is great for everyday wear and had great staying power!

So these are my top 3 MAC lipsticks! I tried to include different shades, let me know what your favourites are so I can give them a try! x

Lush Mask of Magnaminty Face and Body Mask Review

After hearing so much about Lush face masks I decided to bit the bullet and go and get myself one! I have tried numerous of their products over the years such as their bath bombs, lip scrubs and shower gels.

But for this post im going to talk about their Mask of Magnaminty Face and Body Mask. unlike other lush masks this one doesn't need to be stored in the fridge but I do it anyway because I feel it makes it more tingly when it is applied to the skin. This mask boasts that it 'does everything it can to fight eruptions and outbreaks and return your skin to tip top condition'. I am happy to report that it does all this and more!

I put on a thick layer after cleansing my skin, let it dry for 10 minutes and then wash it off with warm water. It leaves my skin feeling soft and deeply cleaned. Sometimes if I feel a spot coming up on my back I will leave this on overnight and it greatly reduces the size of the spot!
Overall I will definitely be repurchasing this mask again! let me know what is your favourite face mask?

Must have Summer nail polish

Essie Funny Face

The thing I probably like most about summer is that I can experiment with bright nail colours. I recently got Essie funny face and this is the perfect most have summer nail colour. First lets talk about the name! I love it! It's a warm bright pink colour! I had this on for 5 days and it didn't chip and I only had 1 coat on! It gives a pretty opaque colour in 2 coats! It's perfect for the beach and these summer months!

Let me know what your favourite summer shade is?! x

Current beauty Favourites

I thought today I'd do a post on my current beauty favourites. As we are now entering the summer months I love to bring out the nudes and pinks in my checks and lips and this is reflected in my favourites! So here they are! Enjoy x

               YSL blush radiance in No.6:

The first thing I love about this blush, is that it has a mirror which means it is super handy to pop in my handbag and bring with me! This blush is also very shimmery which is perfect for these summer days when your checks catch the sunlight! It appears smooth and radiant on my skin but it is very natural looking. I love the colour too. The product is very pricy (around €40) for a blush but I think it's well worth it!

Charlotte Tilbury lip cheat in pillow talk:
Let's just talk about the packaging first! It is stunning! This is the perfect go to nude lip liner. I used this under Mac Viva Glam II and it makes it stay all day but you could use this with any lipstick. It doesn't smudge or fade. I much prefer this to my MAC lip liners! It's an amazing product for the price. (€22)

                                                        Soap and glory solar powder:
This is my all time favourite bronzer. As I have very fair skin I find it hard to get bronzer that doesn't make me look orange! This bronzer doesn't! It gives me a healthy glow with a bit of shimmer. Although this bronzer is a bit pricey (€15) it is well worth the money! Although I don't like the cardboard packaging as it is very flimsy! This is definitely a must for your makeup bag!

                                                  Benefit they're real push-up liner:
I love this eyeliner it lasts all day and doesn't smudge so much that when I go to take it off at the end of the day it takes me ages! The application is very smooth and it drys very quick. It takes a few try's to get the technique right but after that it's perfect! It is very pricey for a eye liner (€25) but it lasts so long that it's well  worth it!

                                                       Rimmel wake me up concealer:
I have the shade 010 Ivory and I do have to say it is very dark for being the lightest shade. I picked up this concealer after hearing great things about it and I wasn't disappointed! It's very lightweight and I use it to brighten my under eyes and cover up any blemishes or spots I have. It's a great price. (€5.49) It's a great drugstore concealer!

Rimmel London 'oh my gloss' Lip Gloss:

My favourite shade is 160 'stay my rose'. This is my holy grail lip gloss! It is not sticky at all!! It's super cheap (€4.99) and it feels like your putting on a lip balm not a lip gloss! I love the applicator and as I love this so much I went out and bought 5 more shades !! I highly recommend this product! Well done Rimmel!

So that is all my favourites. I hope you enjoyed this post and let me know what are your current beauty favourites?!

Berlin 2015

Recently I went to Berlin for a few days. I had never been on an airplane before so it was a scary experience but it was the best few days of my life. Berlin food is very different from Irish food and I have to say I did live off MacDonald's most of the time. I visited  berlin zoo and aquarium, the berlin TV Tower, the Jewish museum and had dinner in the hard rock cafĂ©. Here are some photos of my trip.
                                                                    Enjoy x
